Your Day Your Way Photography
|
What Kind of equipment do you use?
We use Canon DSLR cameras, with a wide variety of Canon and Sigma lenses and Flash Units.
How many megapixels does your camera(s) have?
We currently have 2 cameras. Both are a 12.2 megapixel
How long after you shoot our wedding or event will our proofs be online for viewing
and purchasing?
Our goal is to have your proofs up in week or less, but sometimes due to the sheer number of pictures taken it may take
up to two weeks.
Are my online proofs post edited?
Yes, we post no pictures that haven't been post edited.
Do you offer actual print proofs in any of your packages?
Not at this time, but they are available at an additional cost we can discuss during our meeting.
When we meet before our wedding or event will you personally be the
photographer(s)?
We are a husband and wife team, so yes we would personally be your photographer(s). We do not hire out any of our
services and we have no other employees.
Do you welcome friends and family taking pictures during our ceremony and
reception?
We strongly believe in the value of the snapshot. We suggest that family and friends take as many as possible and that you
even dedicate an entire album to them... However, we know that the shots you're looking forward to the most are the ones
that will come from our cameras. For this reason, we strongly encourage everyone to follow these simple guidelines. We'll
get the shots that you're paying us to get and friends and family will get those awesome snapshots!
**We asks that no other cameras be used while the bride is dressing
**We ask that absolutely no flash be used during the ceremony and that friends and family not be allowed to move around the
church during the ceremony.
**We also asks that family and friends be respectful that we are hired to capture these moments for you and that they under
no circumstances jump in front of us or compete with us to try to get their shot... We also asks that they do not shoot over
our shoulder or beside us as this can be very distracting. We want all of our attention to be focused on you. I am much more
artistic and creative when I'm not being distracted!
**We asks that no other cameras be used during the posed 'formal' group shots. When more than one camera is used
during group shots you're guaranteed tons of photos with everyone looking in different directions as no one will know which
camera to look at... Using only one camera during group shots will also allow us to finish much quicker getting you to your
reception much faster!
*We also asks that whenever possible multiple cameras not be used during key events such as the cake cutting or the
bouquet toss. Today's electronic flash units and complex metering systems can actually counteract one other leaving
multiple cameras (including ours) with useless exposures!
We simply asks that family and friends be limited to candid exposures. We work with the highest work ethic which includes
being respectful of other photographers. However, there is the rare occasion when we need to ask others to put away their
cameras as they have become an obvious intrusion upon your day or in our ability to do our job effectively and efficiently.
